• What is The Safety Silo?
A patented system that prevents mishaps when loading trucks.

• How does The Safety Silo work?
The Safety Silo system implements safety logic for the opening of the silo's safety gates. Three sensors sets per silo are located at key points along the truck passageway to detect for proper truck bed alignment. This prevents attempts to open the wrong safety gate and load out mishaps.

• What power requirements are needed to run The Safety Silo system?

• How much maintenance does The Safety Silo require?
Depending on how dusty the yard is, wiping the sensors clean every two weeks or as needed.

• Will The Safety Silo work with any silo brand?
Yes, because it makes or breaks the existing circuitry to operate the safety gate.

• What if a small or an odd shape truck needs to be loaded?
There is a bypass button for each silo safety gate, this bypass acts in place of the sensors and allows the plant operator to load out the truck.

• What if the truck driver pulls away while the truck is being loaded?
As soon as one of the three sensors detects a portion of the truck is missing, the safety gate will close.

• Can the Safety Silo system be bypassed for plant maintenance?
Yes, by using the bypass button which acts in place of the sensors and allows the plant operator to operate the safety gate.

No, The Safety Silo System will only allow the operator to open one safety gate at a time.

A light at the end of the scale indicates to the driver which silo he is positioned under in the truck throughway.
